I tried one of these for the first time last night, WOW! It certainly didn't leave me hungry... good honest British tucker. I defrosted first then baked for 25 minutes in a domestic oven. The pastry base just makes it easy to handle and is a novel twist to a traditional favourite.
Plate Filler Pies
We're launching a new range of pies.
Plate Filler Pies are a big 360g and measure 14cm wide and 3.5cm deep... they look fantastic on the plate.
Plus.. they are quicker to re-heat because they're shallower and slip out of the foil for ease of handling, incidentally... the foil is microwavable too.
Eleven fillings to choose from.
What a compliment!
One of my customers took a box of "Cottage Pie Pies". After a long and arduous shift, they decided to try the very product I'd been "bangin" on about on the phone. They absolutely loved it... so much so Cottage Pie Pies are now on the menu. With lashings of gravy of course.
